How far would you go to get revenge?

When Chelsea Givens discovered that her ex-boyfriend Drew dumped her to be with her former best friend Lizzie, she'd never felt so betrayed in her life. Then her new friend Shannon tells her she can help set things right. Chelsea's willing to listen, but what Shannon wants her to believe -- that she shared a past life with Drew -- is impossible. And what she wants her to do to get him back … well, it's downright crazy.

Could Shannon be telling the truth? And if she is, what lengths will Chelsea go if it means making Lizzie pay?

Find out in Vengeance, the second part of the Transcend Time Saga.

Vengeance is a short story that bridges the events that happened in the first novel “Remembrance” and the final novel in the Transcend Time Saga “Timeless”.
During this short visit back to the world of Lizzie and Drew, we get to follow Chelsea’s thoughts and life. You can imagine she’s not a happy girl right now, as her best friend stole her boyfriend from her. And not just any boyfriend, Drew was actually the first guy she ever really loved. With Drew everything felt right, like it was meant to be.
Uh-oh.
I kind of suspected Chelsea to be part of the reincarnation story in the first book, because the similarities between the two stories (the one in the past and the one in the present) were just too pronounced. I was wondering after I finished Remembrance what happened with Drew after “the shocking event” in the past. I should have known…

Chelsea is hurt and I know firsthand how heartbreak can transform you from a sane and loving person to a total bitch with no remorse at all. That’s just what happens to Chelsea. She’s convinced Drew is under some kind of spell, that he’s not in his right mind to choose Lizzie instead of her.  At this point however, Chelsea’s more than just a bitch, she’s being a brat. “My hair and skin are more beautiful than hers.” No, don’t go there Chelsea, you’re not better than anyone else and you’re certainly not better than Lizzie.
Not knowing the full story about Lizzie and Drew, she gets pulled in to some sort of voodoo/magic stuff. Shannon, the queen bee, has everything to do with this, which I didn’t quite expect.
I’m glad we’re getting a little magic involved, it spices things up!

I’ll give this 4 dragons, because same as Remembrance, it’s well written, an easy read and entertaining. I like this story and I wonder what will happen to Lizzie now Chelsea has chosen the ultimate revenge.
